Community Supported Farm or CSA Farm is a direct farmer to consumer arrangement where the members of the farm pledge in advance to cover the anticipated costs of the farm operations. In exchange they receive shares in the farm's bounty throughout the growing season....fresh wholesome pesticide free & locally grown produce. They also get satisfaction gained from reconnection to the land and security of knowing where their produce is coming from. Families are encouraged to visit the many farm animals we have here such as our Goats(Madison, Laurie Ann, Ruby, Faith, Rock Star,and Opal), Emus (Larry, Curly & Moe), Pretty boy Floyd the Peacock, Lucy Goosey, Trudy Horse, dogs Sweety and her new puppy Bubbett and our many cats.
*Members also share in risks, such as poor harvest due to unfavorable weather or pests. We hold our standard that if we have a bumper crop you will too!
*****We are glad to announce that we will be adding honey, and eggs to our CSA boxes for the 2012 season at no extra cost.
